Meet Penelope Dee! “Pennie” Dee is a gorgeous, lively, lovely, and loyal girl! She was a stray that was rescued and saved just a day prior to the unthinkable - being euthanized because of overcrowding at the shelter. Here is what her foster parents have to say: “Pennie is about 6 months old and about just 40 lbs. She is spayed, vaccinated, and in perfect health. She is loving, extremely affectionate, loyal, protective, cuddle bug, charming, all fun and funny, wrapped in a bundle of sunshine and kisses of a Cinnabon! There are no down or cloudy days in Pennie’s perfect soul! She is as much the adventure as makes the most mundane the adventure itself! She loves to play, play, and then play a bit more. She is brilliant and wants to please her human parents. She loves other dogs and although she does not always observe personal space, she would greatly benefit from another confident/playful/tolerant dog that would serve as her pack leader. Despite this, since she is an exciting gala of one, she would be fine by herself as long her human is engaged and spends quality time with her. She has already learned potty training, politely waiting for treats and her meals, and is fast learning the intricacies of house living. She does well in a crate when we are out running errands yet please be mindful, crates are for vegetables, not loving, living, breathing, beautiful beings like Pennie.
