Our dream is that one day, we won't have to.MERCY:An event to be grateful for, because it’s occurrence prevents something unpleasant or provides relief from suffering.RESCUE:Save from a dangerous or distressing situation.HAVEN:A place of safety or refuge.Mercy Rescue Haven is an animal rescue group located in Upstate SC.MRH was founded after the rescue of Mercy, a pit bull mix that was found starving and alone. Mercy passed away 5 months after her rescue due to leukemia, this rescue is to honor her.

Meet Luna! Age: approx 10 months. Breed: catahoula mix. Size: approx 35lbs at this time. Training: leash, crate, and doing great with house training. Good with dogs/cats? Yes to dogs, will need to cat test. Good with men/women/kids? Yes. Personality: friendly, affectionate, and playful. Reason for rescue: unclaimed stray. Luna is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and he is current on vaccinations and preventatives.
