Meet Miko! Breed: bernedoodle. Age: est 1 year, 5/27/2023. Weight: 57.4lbs currently. Training: crate and leash trained - does still need guidance occasionally on the leash. He is doing well with supervised house training, but will need continued guidance as he has never lived in a home before now. Good with other dogs/cats? Yes, he LOVES other dogs. In fact, he needs another canine companion in his new home. Cat test pending. Good with adults/kids? Yes. Although due to his timidness, he would do best with older, understanding children. Personality: Miko is very shy at first, but once he warms up to you, he will follow you around and want your attention. He is playful with other dogs and he is learning how to be a companion. Reason for rescue: breeder release, retiring. Miko needs a fenced yard and another dog in his home to show him the ropes. He has never known life without another dog, and he really looks to them for guidance. Miko has a lot of potential. He needs time, love, guidance, and lots of patience to become the wonderful companion we know he is. Miko is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and preventatives.
