Meet Izzy
Izzy's (DOB 6/11/2024) He is a Anatolian Shepherd and he came with four siblings. Izzy came to us with a birth defect he was a Pseudo sexual male meaning he had male and female parts. He has already undergone surgery to fix this birth defect and he looks more like a female now in certain areas but is still all boy. Hence the name Izzy, Is he a boy or is he a girl. This boy is so very gentle and sweet. He loves humans, children, other dogs and would probably do okay with cats considering his temperament. He is also so handsome you just want to hug and hug him and he will allow that as he is an ultimate cuddle bug and likes to rub against your legs like a cat. We are working with him on a leash and he is learning quickly. Izzy is a puppy still and will need house training as all puppies do. This is also a quiet boy that really doesn't bark at all. He is current on all medical and preventions. He would do well with any active family. If you are interested in visiting or adopting, please submit our application at Richardsonrescue.org.
Adoption Process
All potential applicants must fill out an adoption application so that we can verify vet reference, spay neuter of existing pets, personal reference and complete interview process. The interveiw process helps us place the animal into the right enviornment. The adoption contract that is signed by adoption parent and a witness states that there will be no chaining or declawing and all medical needs and prevention requirements will be met.
