Meet Jiminy
When you wish upon a star… you just might end up with Jiminy! Unlike his cricket counterpart, this Jiminy’s not here to sit on your shoulder and lecture you about morality — he’s here to bounce into your heart, steal your socks, and make every day a little brighter (and maybe a little louder).Jiminy is a young pup with a heart full of gold and a brain that’s catching on fast. House training? He’s nearly nailed it — he even cries at the door when nature calls. Crate training? We’ll call it a developing relationship. He sleeps quietly through the night like a pro, but he’d prefer if you didn’t leave him alone for too long (understandable, he is very charming and believes everyone misses him constantly). With an energy level of 7/10, Jiminy is playful, curious, and occasionally jumps for joy — literally. He’s making strides in learning that all four paws belong on the ground. This little guy gets along swimmingly with other dogs, and while he hasn’t been tested with cats, he’s open to negotiating peaceful treaties. His favorite things include: sunshine, peanut butter, belly rubs, toys, and staring suspiciously into the mirror at that very attractive stranger who keeps copying his every move.Jiminy’s ideal home would be an active one where he gets plenty of exercise and attention. A yard would be a dream come true (grass = heaven), and while he doesn’t need another dog around, he sure does enjoy the company. What makes Jiminy extra special? He’s a quick learner with a heart of gold, a goofy streak, and an eagerness to please. With a little time and training, he’s going to be someone’s real-life fairytale come true.So if you’re ready for a sidekick who’s equal parts sweet, silly, and soulful, make a wish — and meet Jiminy. He may not be a cricket, but he will be your conscience… especially if your conscience also reminds you it’s time for a treat. He is microchipped, neutered up to date on vaccines and heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $300. Apply at mpravl.org
