Maude Schiffley Chapter S.P.C.A.

Our organization is the oldest pet welfare one in our community founded in 1957. Our board is 100% volunteer. We operate an Adoption Center in our rural community with the help of minimal paid staff and many volunteers. Primarily we provide shelter, medical and social rehabilitation, promote S/N, responsible pet ownership education, and permanent placement for abandoned pets in need in our community.

Meet Velma

Hey! I’m Velma! I’m the brainy one of the bunch, with a knack for solving puzzles and figuring things out. My coat is a beautiful blend of colors, and I have the most adorable freckles on my nose. ✨ Just like my namesake from Scooby-Doo, I love a good mystery and am always up for a new adventure. Living in an overcrowded shelter has its challenges, but the staff here are like heroes, doing their best to take care of all of us. I try to help out by being extra good and using my smarts to keep things running smoothly. But I can't help but dream of a cozy home where I can cuddle up with my very own family. ️❤️ Are you looking for a clever, affectionate, and loyal friend? Then I'm your girl! Adopt me, and together we can solve the greatest mystery of all: the secret to a happy life filled with love and friendship! Operating Hours: Monday-Tuesday: 10am-4pm Wednesday: Closed Thursday-Friday: 10am-4pm Saturday: 10am-2pm Contact Information: Email: [email protected] or [email protected] Phone: 803-536-3918 Address: 225 Ruf Road, Orangeburg, SC 29118

Adoption Process
We interview potential adoption candidates, require applications, and have a formal adoption contract. Adoption fees vary based on challenges in placing some pets, but generally run from $95 to $130
