Our dream is that one day, we won't have to.MERCY:An event to be grateful for, because it’s occurrence prevents something unpleasant or provides relief from suffering.RESCUE:Save from a dangerous or distressing situation.HAVEN:A place of safety or refuge.Mercy Rescue Haven is an animal rescue group located in Upstate SC.MRH was founded after the rescue of Mercy, a pit bull mix that was found starving and alone. Mercy passed away 5 months after her rescue due to leukemia, this rescue is to honor her.

Meet Pluto

Meet Pluto! Age: approx 11 weeks, birthdate 12/30/24. Breed: border collie/pointer mix. Size: approx 5lbs at this time, we believe they will be about 45ish lbs. Training: crate trained. Just a pup so will need continued guidance and training. Good with dogs/cats? Yes to both. Good with men/women/kids? Yes. Personality: friendly, affectionate, and playful. Reason for rescue: mom showed up and had pups in someone's carport. Animal control picked mom and pups up once they were old enough. We rescued mom and pups. He will be neutered, microchipped, and current on age appropriate vaccinations and preventatives.
