Meet Ivy - Urgent
Meet Ivy! She is an approximately 3 year old, spayed female Staffordshire Terrier mix, recently surrendered to our rescue because her owner couldn’t afford the lifesaving surgery she needed. After spending a week in the hospital trying to recover, one of the technicians that worked with her was gracious enough to foster for us. She has since gained 16 pounds since leaving the hospital and has really started to shine! Go Ivy! Her foster reports that she is an incredibly loving dog, always wanting to be cuddled and in your lap; she is one to follow you around the home, even if you only move 5 inches to the left - in other words a Velcro pup!. Ivy is always willing to hold a conversation with you and is very outspoken about her opinions on the matter, telling you exactly what she thinks. She loves balls and will very happily play by herself if she has one, but her absolute favorite activity is car rides and is willing to go anywhere with you. She would be great for a family with children, or another young dog to run around and play with to burn off excess energy. She’s a very gentle dog but doesn’t always know how strong she can be, so can get a little carried away bouncing and running about. Therefore, may benefit from continued training with manners. However, if she realizes the plan for the day is “couch potato”, she is completely content to cuddle up beside you and sleep the day away. If you could open your heart and home for this softy, please contact Shannon on 919 442 7720 ASAP. More photos and videos here -https://photos.app.goo.gl/XAh3wA9rs38Gy2hBA
