Meet Scout

Woof, woof! My name is Scout, and I am a ball of fun and adventure with the best puppy dog eyes you've ever seen. I love to play, explore and make new friends, but most of all, I love being a big brother to my two sisters here at the shelter. We have so much fun together and I love being able to take care of them and make sure they're happy. My big, soulful eyes are just one of the many things that make me so special. They'll melt your heart every time you look into them, I promise. I may be a little bit mischievous at times, but I promise to always bring joy and laughter into your life. I'm searching for my forever home, a place where I can continue to be a loving and playful companion, just as I am with my sisters here at the shelter. So, if you're looking for a fun-loving pup with the best puppy dog eyes, look no further! I'm here and ready to make all your dreams come true. Scout will be neutered before leaving the Shelter and you can call or email for the release date.  The adoption fee includes age appropriate vaccinations and deworming, Frontline application, spay or neuter surgery, collar, ID tag and a leash.  A $35 (non-refundable) deposit will hold the pet for you for 5 days.  The Shelter is open Tuesday and Thursday from 10 am to 4 pm, Wednesday from 10 am to 12 pm, Friday from 10 am to 3 pm and the first and third Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm.  Call 803-536-3918 for more information or email at: [email protected]  

Adoption Process
We interview potential adoption candidates, require applications, and have a formal adoption contract. Adoption fees vary based on challenges in placing some pets, but generally run from $95 to $130
