Meet Winter
This playful pup is looking, and listening, for a forever home. Everyone loves her ears! Winter loves to cuddle and will sit for a treat. She is being fostered in a home with a large dog, cats, and kids. She gets along with their big dog, is adjusting to the cats, and likes the children. Winter is a young dog, born 8/17/23, and she is very playful and energetic. Winter is crate trained and potty training in going well. From being at the shelter, we know Winter likes to play with the water from the hose. She weighs about 30 lbs. and is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her shots. Because of her playfulness, she would probably do well with another dog and a fenced-in yard. If you are looking to add a young dog to your family, come meet Winter. *************************************************************************** This pet comes with an implanted 24 PetWatch microchip and free registration into the 24PetWatch pet recovery service. *************************************************************************** This dog is available for adoption at the Humane Society of McCormick County is SC for an adoption fee. All of our dogs are indoor dogs with outdoor privileges. To adopt, contact 864-391-2349 or [email protected]. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 organization. To learn more, visit www.hsmcsc.org.
Adoption Process
Our adoption process starts with an interview. We want to know what type of cat or dog they are looking for, their lifestyle, and their expectations. Then we set up a meet and greet either at the shelter, a pet store, or at their home. Then they fill out an adoption contract. We offer and encourage potential adopters to take the dog or cat home on foster-to-adopt for a few weeks before finalizing the adoption. Our adoption fee is $65 for cats and $125 for dogs which included spay or neuter and vaccinations and for dogs, it includes a microchip. Cats can be microchipped upon request.
