Meet Pizza
This big boy is looking for a home. Pizza is a friendly and robust brindle Cane Corso mix who loves attention and playtime. He usually walks well on a leash, but does pull at times. Pizza is a playful spirit who sometimes forgets his size, so playtime can get a bit rough. He is very affectionate and gives lots of kisses. He arrived with a partially healed embedded collar injury and was underweight, but he's on the mend and thriving. Pizza, born on 6/16/23, currently weighs about 100 lbs, is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his shots. Let us know if you need some Pizza in your life! *************************************************************************** This pet comes with an implanted 24 PetWatch microchip and free registration into the 24PetWatch pet recovery service. *************************************************************************** This dog is available for adoption at the Humane Society of McCormick County is SC for an adoption fee. All of our dogs are indoor dogs with outdoor privileges. To adopt, contact 864-391-2349 or [email protected]. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 organization. To learn more, visit www.hsmcsc.org.
Adoption Process
Our adoption process starts with an interview. We want to know what type of cat or dog they are looking for, their lifestyle, and their expectations. Then we set up a meet and greet either at the shelter, a pet store, or at their home. Then they fill out an adoption contract. We offer and encourage potential adopters to take the dog or cat home on foster-to-adopt for a few weeks before finalizing the adoption. Our adoption fee is $65 for cats and $125 for dogs which included spay or neuter and vaccinations and for dogs, it includes a microchip. Cats can be microchipped upon request.
