Maude Schiffley Chapter S.P.C.A.

Our organization is the oldest pet welfare one in our community founded in 1957. Our board is 100% volunteer. We operate an Adoption Center in our rural community with the help of minimal paid staff and many volunteers. Primarily we provide shelter, medical and social rehabilitation, promote S/N, responsible pet ownership education, and permanent placement for abandoned pets in need in our community.

Meet Daphne

Hi there, I’m Daphne! I'm a spunky little pup with a heart full of curiosity and a nose for adventure. My fur is as soft as velvet, and my eyes are always sparkling with mischief. I’ve been told I look a bit like a cartoon character from the Scooby-Doo gang, and I like to think that I bring the same kind of charm and bravery to my real-life mystery-solving escapades. You see, my friends and I live in a shelter that's bustling with activity. It’s a busy place, and sometimes it feels like there are just too many of us here. The kind folks at the shelter work so hard to take care of us, but I dream of the day when I can have a home to call my own. Imagine all the adventures we could have together! If you're looking for a playful, loving, and ever-curious companion, look no further! I promise to fill your life with laughter and love. Adopt me, and let’s make some unforgettable memories together!

Adoption Process
We interview potential adoption candidates, require applications, and have a formal adoption contract. Adoption fees vary based on challenges in placing some pets, but generally run from $95 to $130
