Meet Wren
Meet Wren! Wren is physically 11yrs old but she acts like she is 8. Wren LOVES playing! She’s got so much spunk in her! She’s sweet and spicy. She loves a good nap but has big crazy bursts of energy! She may be on meds for arthritis pain but she will still insist on running up and down the stairs and jumping and rolling around on beds. Nothing will slow this girl down! She will wrestle and play with other foster Briar! Wren loves food and burrowing in blankets. She loves a good head scratch and playing fetch. Wren wasn’t socialized enough in her previous home. Due to this she gets fiesty when you touch her paws, try to collar or leash her and try to put her into a travel carrier. Getting a sweater on her took patience and treat bribes. While she’d love to play with kids, we believe in safety first. Wren should go to a home with no young kids. Tweens-teens who know not to grab her and pick her up and respect her space when needed would be okay. Wren is dog friendly. She enjoys yard time and needs a fenced in yard. She truly is a funny little girl who will keep you on your toes! Wren’s hair loss is due to being hypothyroid and living without medication for so long. She is now on medication and hair is returning. Adopter will need to continue her meds and monitoring thyroid levels. She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and current with all vaccines (as appropriate for her age) and on flea and heartworm prevention. Wren is currently being fostered in South Carolina.
