Meet Herby

Meet Herby! Isn't she stunning?!! Herby is a female retriever mix about 2 1/2 years old. Herby was found as a stray in Maysville, NC about a week before Thanksgiving. The local shelter was full but she and 2 pups were rescued just a day before euthanized. She is chipped but, was abandoned when her family moved leaving her behind. Herby had a litter of pups about 3-4 months ago. The pups are weaned and 2 were brought in with her when they were found together. This precious girl just loves to play with other dogs, zooming around the back yard. When it’s a warm sunny day, she loves to enjoy lounging outside in a fenced yard. Herby is fostered in a home with other pups and a cat. She seems interested in the cat but has not chased her. She is potty trained and crate trained. If she needs to potty she will let you know. She loves to have your attention and walks well on a leash. Her favorite toys are any that squeak!! Herby is such an all round good dog and so easy going, she will fit into any family!
