He's looking for a patient and loving adopter who will show him that life isn't so scary after all. Barney truly blossoms around other dogs-they give him confidence and help him feel safe. A home with a canine companion would be perfect for him! With time, kindness, and a gentle hand, Barney will show you just how much love he has to give. Barney is heartworm positive, and we need to raise $250 for his treatment before he can go home. Adoption Process
$60 - $125 adoption fee Applicants are asked to fill out a questioner so that we know about their home/lifestyle. Depending on the circumstances, we may do a home visit or check veterinary references. We do require verification from landlords if an applicant rents. Applicants are required to sign an adoption contract agreeing to obey animal ordinances, provide proper exercise and care as well as veterinary care.
