Meet Hachi
Hachi is a spirited and intelligent 1.5-year-old, weighing in at 40 pounds. This energetic pup is eager to learn and loves a good challenge. She’s a quick study and will have you amazed at how quickly she picks up new tricks. Hachi is a social butterfly who gets along great with other dogs and kids. She's always ready for playtime, whether it's a game of fetch or a leisurely stroll. If you're an active family seeking a furry friend to keep up with your lifestyle, Hachi is the perfect companion. She's crate-trained and rides well in the car, making her the ideal travel buddy for your next adventure. *************************************************************************** This pet comes with an implanted 24 PetWatch microchip and free registration into the 24PetWatch pet recovery service. *************************************************************************** This dog is available for adoption at the Humane Society of McCormick County is SC for an adoption fee. All of our dogs are indoor dogs with outdoor privileges. To adopt, contact 864-391-2349 or [email protected]. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 organization. To learn more, visit www.hsmcsc.org.
Adoption Process
Our adoption process starts with an interview. We want to know what type of cat or dog they are looking for, their lifestyle, and their expectations. Then we set up a meet and greet either at the shelter, a pet store, or at their home. Then they fill out an adoption contract. We offer and encourage potential adopters to take the dog or cat home on foster-to-adopt for a few weeks before finalizing the adoption. Our adoption fee is $65 for cats and $125 for dogs which included spay or neuter and vaccinations and for dogs, it includes a microchip. Cats can be microchipped upon request.
