Meet Keifer! **Available for adoption beginning 2/7, however we are accepting applications! Age: will be 8 weeks, est birthdate 12/13/24. Breed: mom is a German Shepherd/lab mix, and dad was a great pyr/golden retriever mix. Size: approx 7lbs at this time, we believe they will be about 50-60ish lbs when full grown. Training: crate trained, and doing great with leash and house training. Just a pup so will need continued guidance and training. Good with dogs/cats? Yes to both. Good with men/women/kids? Yes. Personality: a little shy at first bht that doesn't last long, warms up to be friendly, affectionate, and playful. Reason for rescue: owner surrender. Owner needed placement for the entire family (Mom, dad, pups, and another older pup) and they were scheduled to go to Animal control, who said they were full and the whole group would be euthanized. We stepped in at the last minute to rescue the group! They are microchipped, and current on vaccinations and preventatives, and have had a negative fecal. They will be required to be spayed/neutered before 6 months of age. If you are interested in adding this sweet baby to your family, please message for an adoption application. Adoption fee: $150.
