Meet Leo

Leo is one of the sweetest golden boys you will ever meet! Leo came to SFCR with a condition called puppy strangles. He was not feeling so good at first but with good treatment and meds, he is as good as new and feeling like a brand new pup.  He is doing so well in foster care and has even learned how to sit and shake. He is kennel trained, leash trained, and working hard on his housetraining.  Leo adores the other dogs in his foster home and would be happiest in a home with at least one other dog to keep him company. He also very much enjoys playing with the young boy in his foster home.  Leo will require a local adoption until after his neuter surgery in 2/2025.   ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: Local adoption only. Leo is scheduled to be neutered in 2/2025 (covered by rescue/included in adoption fee). Physically fenced in yard preferred but not mandatory. Leo would be happiest in a home with a canine companion. Leo is current on vaccinations & monthly preventatives, dewormed, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $750 plus tax.
