Him getting snipped didn't slow him down one bit. He loves to play and is curious about everything. I believe he would harass a cat if he went to a home that had one. He tries to play with Frankie and Ruby but they haven't played back as he keeps trying to hump them, lol. He absolutely hates baths and barks and cried when he gets put in a kennel. It's a wrestling match to get him to do either. He loves being outside and likes to play in the snow. He eats well and drinks a lot of water which drips all over the floor as it's gets soaked in his hair. Overall, Hobbs is very sweet and seems to like people a lot as he gives everyone lots of kisses when he sees them.Howdy! I'm a super sweet frenchie.. I like the other dogs in my foster home. I am new to this living life as a house pet. I am busy learning my house manners and house training .I must have a fenced yard as I have never learner to walk on a leash. My name is Hobbs and I am 2 years old. I weigh about 27.6 pounds and my adoption fee is $750 plus $33.75 plus tax for a total $783.75.
Adoption Process
Usually we are contacted by a SD shelter about a dachshund that is not doing well (nipping etc.) and that they are going to be put down. We take them in get them vetted and then place them up for adoption after they have been evaluated. We also take calls from folks who have called their local shelter about there dachshund that may have started nipping at small children etc and are told the dog would be put down. We also take calls from other rescues about breeder dogs.
