We are a foster home based rescue. Please fill out the online adoption application by clicking on Adoption Info under the Navigation bar on the left side of the page.Hey hey we're the Monkees!  I am Davy - we all remember Davy Jones!  I am the most timid of the band members. I absolutely need a fenced yard.  I am a recent breeder release boy learning all about living in a home setting, house training, learning to run in a fenced yard.I don't know anything about boundaries, roads, cars etc so a fenced yard is a must for me!  I also need another social dog in my new home to help me adjust. I love to be with all of the band members. I am slowly learning to like getting picked up.  Do you have the time to spend with me- we can make beautiful music together.  My name is Davy and I am about 8 years old and weigh about 12 pounds, my adoption fee is $325 plus sales tax $14.63 =$339.63

Adoption Process
Usually we are contacted by a SD shelter about a dachshund that is not doing well (nipping etc.) and that they are going to be put down. We take them in get them vetted and then place them up for adoption after they have been evaluated. We also take calls from folks who have called their local shelter about there dachshund that may have started nipping at small children etc and are told the dog would be put down. We also take calls from other rescues about breeder dogs.
