We are a foster home based rescue. Please fill out the online adoption application by clicking on Adoption Info under the Navigation bar on the left side of the page. Gracie is a sweetheart. She is deaf and only sees shadows so she absolutely must have a fenced yard. We will be looking for a very special home for her. She is very dear to her foster mom's heart. Gracis is about 7 months old and weighs about 11 pounds. Her adoption fee is $600 plus tax of $27 for a total of $627.
Adoption Process
Usually we are contacted by a SD shelter about a dachshund that is not doing well (nipping etc.) and that they are going to be put down. We take them in get them vetted and then place them up for adoption after they have been evaluated. We also take calls from folks who have called their local shelter about there dachshund that may have started nipping at small children etc and are told the dog would be put down. We also take calls from other rescues about breeder dogs.
