Meet Sonny
To adopt please fill out an adoption Application Sonny is a 13 month old purebred German Shepherd Dog who was rescued as a stray in a TN state park. Friendly, well-socialized, great temperament. Typical GSD behaviors, good guard dog, sometimes barks when strangers approach the house. Great with other dogs and living comfortably with 2 other dogs in his foster home. Not recommended for cats because he likes to chase them. Good with kids and recommended for children 6 years and older. Medium energy level outside, quiet and well-mannered in the house. Housebroken. Not crated because he doesn’t need to be. Learning basic commands. Loves to be with his people. Good on a leash, rides great in the car. When he first came to us, Sonny had heartworms, but he was treated without complications and cured and is now ready for adoption. Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, neutered, weighs about 75 pounds. AWESOME young GSD will make a wonderful companion for an active family who loves the breed.
