Meet Jacko

Hi, I’m Jocko My owner unfortunately cannot keep me any longer and I need a place to go ASAP!!! My human dad wasn’t so nice to my human momma and when they separated, I was left with my mom. She travels for work and cannot keep me, she is very very heartbroken. I am a seven year old purebred German shepherd. I am known as a gentle giant, and I love just laying around and enjoying my day with my humans. I am house trained, and good with kids, although with my age, older kids are recommended. I can’t quite keep up with the youngsters. I have not been around cats, so I am unsure what I’d do, that being said cats are not recommended for me. I would do better with another female dog in the home, but prefer to live out my life as the only dog or with Nova, my girlfriend. I like walks and just walking around in the yard and I listen very well. I really don’t want to leave my momma, but she said someone will love me just as much as she does. I sure hope that’s true, she REALLY loves me. I am not neutered yet, but that will be before adoption. If you can let me live out the rest of my years sunbathing in on the porch or chilling on the couch with you, please fill out an application for me. Adoption Process
We require an adoption application and a contract. Our adoption fee is $125 for dogs and $90 for cats. Our requirements are listed on the website and on our contract.
