Meet BB KING

Our handsome Black Shepherd boy is called BB King, named after the great legend of Beal Street in Memphis, TN.  This boy was rescued from a terribly small shelter near Memphis where often they are forced to euthanize to make room for the many others being dropped off.   BB came to the shelter in such a rough and ragged state with ears tattered, his black coat dull from lack of good nutrition and other health issues that are now being taken care of.  He was said to be 10 years plus in age but we have come to see that his teeth are remarkably good looking and his energy now is catching up to show us that he is a much younger and more youthful age and perhaps he is only 5-7 years.  The foster mom is so impressed with BB King and how super sweet he is with a wonderfully, gentle, friendly nature.   He is fine with cats and wonderful with children and the foster home has a white male Shepherd living with BB and they have best time romping in the fenced yard and being best buds.  BB King immediately demonstrated his gratitude for the good food, and affection his foster family showed him.  He has a totally submissive nature about him and wants to completely submit to whatever you want and being your best friend.  He is still needing reassurance that this new life is NOT a dream but a reality that he can count on for the rest of his life.  He is an amazing, happy and very smart boy that is going through the gentle heartworm treatment and responding so well with a healthier look to his shiny coat and a perky pep in his step.  His treatment can easily be continued with his adopters and it will be provided by Critter Cavalry as it is just topical every two weeks.
