Dorey is a friendly, sweet young lady about 11-12 months old. She was living under a man’s trailer. He tried to feed her and provide water, but this was becoming harder for him since he is in failing health. His home health therapist talked to him about the dog’s situation. She got her husband involved. This couple just happened to be a foster home for Homeward Bound. They offered to foster if we could cover help with her shots, spaying and preventatives. So Ms Dorey has had her shots, started on preventatives and will be spayed soon. She is heart-worm negative and microchipped. Dorey likes other dogs, cats and would be ideal for a family with children old enough to learn how to care for their dog. If you think she might be the one for you, go to hbpr.org and submit an application. Her adoption fee is $300.00.~~If you are interested in this animal, you can complete the questionnaire found on the available pets page of our website http://hbpr.org.
