Meet JIGGS
This wonderful boy is no longer a puppy. He has been sitting at the Cumberland County Animal Shelter in Crossville Tennessee since early in 2023. JIGGS is one male puppy in a litter of four male puppies that arrived together at the shelter the latter part of February 2023. They are listed as Lab mixes and were 6 to 7 weeks of age at intake. Unfortunately, they were put on a court hold until the case against their owner could be resolved. Once that was done, months after their arrival there, they were made available for adoption. Only one of the three has been adopted and the other three are still sitting there over a year later. JIGGS still needs to be neutered before he can go home with you as your own. Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared!
Adoption Process
Adoption contract, Adoption fee of $50 per cat and $80 per dog set by county commission and subject to change, drivers license and cash or check only. The adoption fees currently cover most, but not all, of the spay/neuter cost incurred by the county.
