COURTESY POST/MS PARTNER:Meet Maggie, Mowgli and Miles! This sweet mama was out roaming during freezing temps in rural MS. She is approximately 3-4 years old, and no more than 10lbs. She’s good with other dogs and children, and she is almost completely house trained (only has had a few accidents when left during long period of time). She is pretty much over nursing her boys now, and would love to finally have a home to call her own! She’s the perfect lap dog and loves to curl up and snuggle next to her person. She will be up to date on all vetting and spayed prior to adoption/transport.Available dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else. We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters.The application is the first step. Volunteers process the applications and need time above their personal needs and full-time jobs to process the apps.Please have patience. We do not have any paid staff members. Our adoption fee is $300 which includes spay/neuter, DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies, HW check, and microchip. Russell Rescue dogs are fostered in the Middle Tennessee area. We do not ship/transport our dogs, so the approved adopter must be willing to travel to Tennessee. Russell Rescue will try to first place our rescue dogs locally or in surrounding states.Russell Rescue is not open to the public for visiting hours.
