COURTESY POST/MS PARTNER:Meet Maggie, Mowgli and MilesMowgli and Miles are around 6 weeks old (we think they were only about a week old when we took them in). They were also left outside with the mom in below freezing temps, and have survived frostbite! Although we’re unsure what breed mix the dad was, I think these boys will stay small/not get over 20lbs. They’ll need a foster and/or adopter that is ready for all things puppy but they’ve been truly thriving with their current foster and have picked up on using puppy pads! They have been dewormed and will receive their first set of vaccines this week. If anyone is interested in fostering and/or adopting any of these pups- please reach out to me or the RR team! I am a rescue partner in Oxford MS and am happy to travel to the area to meet approved fosters/adopters!!Available dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else. We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters.The application is the first step. Volunteers process the applications and need time above their personal needs and full-time jobs to process the apps.Please have patience. We do not have any paid staff members. Our adoption fee is $300 which includes spay/neuter, DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies, HW check, and microchip. Russell Rescue dogs are fostered in the Middle Tennessee area. We do not ship/transport our dogs, so the approved adopter must be willing to travel to Tennessee. Russell Rescue will try to first place our rescue dogs locally or in surrounding states.Russell Rescue is not open to the public for visiting hours.
