Meet DODGER
Dodger is a truly handsome shepherd boy that gained his name after being found hit by a car and his foster thought he had definitely been the "Artful Dodger" of death. A clever character in a Charles Dickens book called Oliver Twist who was the leader of a pack of orphaned, pickpocket street urchins, who defied all sorts of dangerous moments in life. This handsome boy is only forty five pounds and a young two year old who loves all people and dogs alike. But who he loves most is children and the ability to play with them and to love on them and to be their companion, would be a dream come true for his life. If you are looking for a wonderful family companion who is gentle, kind, loving and submissive in all situations, then you've come to the right dog when you consider Dodger. He is pretty much housebroken and walks very nicely on a leash and is learning crate training skills. When we think of A++ dogs to recommend to people for adoption, Dodger is at the top of our list. We have observed him chasing cats and chickens, so let's not tempt this boy if you have any of those small and fast temptations. Dodger would benefit from a secured and fence yard to play in and would love to have the company of another dog or children or both. If you are interested in this handsome boy, please write to us at [email protected]. Dodger is ready willing and able to leave his foster home and start a new life. PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.
