We still have not had her around cats or small children, but we do believe she would be o.k. in a home with a friendly canine companion. Georgia's owner recently passed away, and now she needs to find her new forever home. She is a very loyal companion who was by her owner's side until the end. Georgia appears to be a purebred German shepherd; she is about 6 years old, house-trained, spayed, and current on vaccines. She had a 3-year-rabies vaccine in 2022, so it is good until 2025. She has lived with another dog before, and we think she could get along with an older or mellow dog. We do not know whether or not she has been around cats or children. Adoption Process
Application form, phone or personal interview, home visit, vet and personal references, adoption fee $125 dogs / $85 cats. Contract specifying that animals must be primarily indoor pets, dogs leashed or fenced; no declawing of cats, and that they cannot be passed on to others but must be returned to SARG if given up for any reason.
