Meet Peyton - FOSTER OR HOME NEEDED!
Hi! My name is Peyton and I’m a loyal yellow Lab with a heart as big as the sky! I’m writing this because I need a hero—someone with a whole lot of love. My mom was about to bring a tiny human into the world, and while she’s over the moon but life was getting complicated. She has to move to a place where I can’t stay. I was able to get into rescue by the skin of my teeth. Now, I'm over the moon! This is what makes me awesome... I’m a big fan of car rides—tell me to hop in, and I’m there with my tail wagging! I know a bunch of tricks too, and I love showing off for treats and praise. I'm also very sweet! I would love a home where I can be the only pet or I a larger dog. What I would really love is someone who can be around a lot. I’m a good boy! I’m loyal, loving, and I’ve saved my mom from some really dark times. I even used to take care of a veteran. Now I’m hoping someone can step in and give me what I need the most...a new home. I was my mom’s rock, her reason to keep going when things got tough. Now I need someone to be my rock. Adoption process includes a contract, home visit, and one week trial period. Unless otherwise noted, all Almost Home dogs are healthy, spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and flea & tick preventative.
Adoption Process
We require an adoption application and a contract. Our adoption fee is $125 for dogs and $90 for cats. Our requirements are listed on the website and on our contract.
