Meet BANE (Neutered!)
What a gorgeous hunk of dog! BANE is a beautiful Rottweiler. He was listed as about 5 to 6 years of age when he was returned to the shelter in April 2023 after a short adoption. His intake weight was 55 pounds. He has successfully paired with a dog named BELLA. She is already spayed and he has been neutered, so they make a perfect pair of active, playful dogs. Sadly, there are so many dogs to choose from that these two keep getting overlooked. BANE is fun to watch as he wrestles with his kennel mate.. He never seems to have a bad day and keeps on smiling and playing no matter how long he sits at the shelter. However, space is always tight and it is hoped that BANE can find the right home soon. No dog deserves to spend his entire life sitting in an animal shelter. And because he has already neutered, he can go home the same day that he is adopted! Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! That includes taking a dog collar and leash with you to the adoption appointment in case you do decide to adopt BANE. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have just adopted ! Safety first!
Adoption Process
Adoption contract, Adoption fee of $50 per cat and $80 per dog set by county commission and subject to change, drivers license and cash or check only. The adoption fees currently cover most, but not all, of the spay/neuter cost incurred by the county.
