Shelter Animals Rescue Group

Our organization is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit, formed in 1996 to help save adoptable dogs and cats from euthanization at the Oak Ridge Animal Shelter. We specialize in mixed breeds. Our shelter is often filled with very adoptable animals that must die because of space limitations, and we are devoted to giving a second chance to as many as we can. We house our animals in foster homes or boarding kennels for as long as it takes to find them permanent homes. We participate in numerous community events to promote our animals and the concept of adoption/rescue.

Meet Shiloh

See Courtesy Posting Disclaimer * Meet Shiloh: The Sweetest Little Sunshine Girl Who’s Ready for Her Forever Family! Shiloh is a stunning Walker Hound and Mountain Cur mix, weighing in at 60 pounds of love and joy. At 5 years old, this sweet girl is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, and eager to find her new home! She’s a fun-loving gal who loves basking in the sunshine, going for long walks, or cruising on car rides, Shiloh is always up for an adventure! She’s fantastic with other dogs, cats, and kids, making her the perfect addition to any family. Shiloh does get a little bored without regular playtime and exercise, so if you’re an active family looking for a companion to share the fun with, she’ll keep you entertained! She’s housetrained and can be easily retrained if crating is needed. This gentle, loving girl just wants to be a cherished member of a family who will give her the attention and affection she deserves. If you're looking for a loyal, playful companion who’ll fill your home with love, Shiloh is your girl! Ready to meet Shiloh? Call Amberley at 865-368-4407 or email charice.johnson@gmail.com to schedule your meet and greet! [Posted 3/22/2025] *Please be aware that this animal is a courtesy posting for the owner ONLY.
