Meet LAYLA

LAYLA is a 2 to 3-year-old Shepherd mix female adult. She arrived at the shelter in September 2024 with an intake weight of 23 pounds. She has a shiny black coat with a few white markings and she is a joy to watch as she runs and plays and leaps for the camera. She has not yet been spayed and that must be done before she can go home with you as your own. Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! 

Adoption Process
Adoption contract, Adoption fee of $50 per cat and $80 per dog set by county commission and subject to change, drivers license and cash or check only. The adoption fees currently cover most, but not all, of the spay/neuter cost incurred by the county.
