Meet COPPER
COPPER is listed as a 2 to 3 year-old red tick coonhound. He arrived at the shelter at the beginning of December 2024 and is a happy, active playful dog. Thankfully, he gets along with other dogs and staff has been able to successfully pair him with other male dogs since his arrival. He still needs to be neutered before he can go home with you as your own. Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain that the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared!
Adoption Process
Adoption contract, Adoption fee of $50 per cat and $80 per dog set by county commission and subject to change, drivers license and cash or check only. The adoption fees currently cover most, but not all, of the spay/neuter cost incurred by the county.
