Meet RUFUS
RUFUS is estimated at about six years of age he weighed 65 pounds at Intake. he arrived at the shelter in early November 2024.Staff has identified him as a Labrador. So, he is definitely a big beautiful boy. He has not yet been neutered though. That must be done before he can go home with you as your own. Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared!
Adoption Process
Adoption contract, Adoption fee of $50 per cat and $80 per dog set by county commission and subject to change, drivers license and cash or check only. The adoption fees currently cover most, but not all, of the spay/neuter cost incurred by the county.
