Meet RUBY

RUBY Is a female pointer mix dog with an intake weight of about 30 pounds and an age estimate somewhere between one and five years. She arrived at the shelter in October 2024 and has been successfully paired with other dogs since then. RUBY is a knockout with her liver and white markings and her happy personality. She has not yet been spayed, though. That must be done before she can go home with you as your own. Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABL to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared!

Adoption Process
Adoption contract, Adoption fee of $50 per cat and $80 per dog set by county commission and subject to change, drivers license and cash or check only. The adoption fees currently cover most, but not all, of the spay/neuter cost incurred by the county.
