Meet BEETLE JUICE (Neutered!)
BEETLE JUICE is listed as a mixture of Hound and Mountain Cur. He is about 2 to 3 years old and weighed 62 pounds when he arrived at the shelter in October 2023. He is a really nice looking dog with brindle and white markings. He has a very sweet face and gentle disposition. Thanks to a partnership between the University of Tennessee and Cumberland County Animal Shelter, BEETLE JUICE was neutered on April 17. As a result, he can go home the same day that he is adopted! Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! That includes taking a dog collar and leash with you to the adoption appointment in case you do decide to adopt him. Even better, take a large dog crate with you to that appointment. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have just adopted! Safety first!
Adoption Process
Adoption contract, Adoption fee of $50 per cat and $80 per dog set by county commission and subject to change, drivers license and cash or check only. The adoption fees currently cover most, but not all, of the spay/neuter cost incurred by the county.
