Meet THE PROFESSOR
THE PROFESSOR arrived at the shelter at the end of March 2025 with another dog that may be his brother. The two boys are estimated at about 8 to 10 months of age. This boy weighed in at 32 pounds. He is tan with white markings. Both of the boys are listed as a mixture of mountain cur and Feist.Just like his brother he is as sweet as he can be and you can expect to fall in love at first sight. THE PROFESSOR has not yet been neutered. That must be done before you can take him home as your own. Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared!
Adoption Process
Adoption contract, Adoption fee of $50 per cat and $80 per dog set by county commission and subject to change, drivers license and cash or check only. The adoption fees currently cover most, but not all, of the spay/neuter cost incurred by the county.
