Meet BLITZEN
BLITZEN arrived at the shelter in December 2024. He was estimated at about four months of age at that time. Staff listed him as a mixture of Staffordshire terrier/Heeler. His intake weight at that time was 22 pounds. He is playful and happy and enjoys the treats and toys that staff provides to him. He has now had two sets of puppy vaccines and was dewormed as part of their standard procedures. BLITZEN has not yet been neutered and that must be done before he can go home with you as your own. Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared!
Adoption Process
Adoption contract, Adoption fee of $50 per cat and $80 per dog set by county commission and subject to change, drivers license and cash or check only. The adoption fees currently cover most, but not all, of the spay/neuter cost incurred by the county.
