Meet GOPHER

GOPHER is a 2 to 3 year-old male shepherd mix dog. He arrived at the shelter near the end of January 2025 with an intake weight of 42 pounds. He is a sweetheart! And he does get along with at least some other dogs, as staff was able to successfully pair him with another dog when a kennel space opened up. GOPHER has not yet been neutered and that must be done before he can go home with you as your own. Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared!

Adoption Process
Adoption contract, Adoption fee of $50 per cat and $80 per dog set by county commission and subject to change, drivers license and cash or check only. The adoption fees currently cover most, but not all, of the spay/neuter cost incurred by the county.
