Meet ALLEGRA
ALLEGRA is a sweet young Great Dane, possibly a mixed breed. She arrived at the shelter in January 2025 when she was estimated at six months of age - and already weighed 45 pounds. She is a black and white beauty with energy and personality. She has not yet been spayed, though. That must be done before she can go home with you as your own. Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared!
Adoption Process
Adoption contract, Adoption fee of $50 per cat and $80 per dog set by county commission and subject to change, drivers license and cash or check only. The adoption fees currently cover most, but not all, of the spay/neuter cost incurred by the county.
