Meet AXL

Take a look at the face on this puppy and fall in love. AXL or his brother SLASH will have the same effect on you. So, take your pick! AXL is listed as an 8 to 10 week old male lab puppy, black with white markings. The brothers arrived at the shelter in mid January 2025. AXL has the cutest ears in his photos and his charm is off the charts! Since he is a puppy, you can imagine how much he loves to play and shoe and he is very good with his brother. Both of them have had two sets of puppy vaccines and been dewormed routinely. However, he has not yet been neutered and that must be done before he can go home with you as your own. Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! 

Adoption Process
Adoption contract, Adoption fee of $50 per cat and $80 per dog set by county commission and subject to change, drivers license and cash or check only. The adoption fees currently cover most, but not all, of the spay/neuter cost incurred by the county.
