Meet SLASH

SLASH is one of two adorable Labrador mix male puppies to arrive at the shelter in mid January 2025. They were estimated at 8 to 10 weeks of age and were in the 8 pound range at that point. The two boys have now had two sets of puppy vaccines and were dewormed routinely by staff. Both of them have those adorable ears that fold over and both are black with white markings. Just like his brother, SLASH is in puppy mode with the toys and treats and playing like crazy little puppies who think the fun will never stop! Or that they will ever have to grow up! You can tell SLASH apart from his brother, by the fact that he has less white on his feet. His brother has white on all 4 feet. SLASH has not yet been neutered and that must be done before he can go home with you. Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared!

Adoption Process
Adoption contract, Adoption fee of $50 per cat and $80 per dog set by county commission and subject to change, drivers license and cash or check only. The adoption fees currently cover most, but not all, of the spay/neuter cost incurred by the county.
