Meet MURPHY

Murphy is a 7.5 year old 45 pound Border Collie mix who is looking NOT for his furever home but for HIS one and only life companion.  This boy has a secret past that we know nothing about.  He came from a shelter in East Tennessee and we have been working with him for a while to prepare him emotionally for a new life.  Although he doesn’t mind a quick romp with the young children at the foster home,  he prefers the lasting company of a mature woman. Murphy is the jealous type so an “only dog” household is key to a long lasting relationship. Now be forewarned… he will find it his duty to protect you from the mail-man, any maintenance man, cable- guy or really anyone that does not live in the home. The good thing is ….. he does respect your space as long as you respect his. Murphy’s favorite color is blue, he loves seafood and does not like long walks on the beach because he would rather be putting on unneeded pounds while sleeping belly up in the middle of your bed. He doesn’t mind being vain or selfish with his food or toys. Murphy is handsome and to prove he knows this…he will allow you to dress him as long as you have a great sense of style.  He will expect regular grooming by brushing him with regular monthly baths which should easily accomplish his persona of being the best looking guy around. Murphy is properly crate trained and requires his crate to be adorned with only the softest blankets you can buy.
