Meet PUPPY TREASURE
Treasure has been salvaged from a dire living situation and plight where many dogs are living, litters born that shouldn’t be and the owners have no money to care for the dogs with food and vetting. She is a lucky girl to have escaped perhaps a life of giving birth to many litters of puppies over and over again. Critter Cavalry Rescue took this Hound/Shepherd mix girl and her brother and 6 other puppies from the property and are fostering all of them now with great hopes for their safety and future solid homes and families adopting them. Treasure is a love bug and confident, smart and very response to training! She had never been inside a house until October 8th and now she is enjoying all the amenities that a soft dog beg, a human lap and good puppy chow can provide. She is learning how to play with great happiness since there are new toys to carry around. Learning the house training rules and crate training as well and mastering all of them perfectly so far. Treasure is loving, gently curious and very good with the other animals on the mini-farm she is being fostered on. She is good with cats, dog, chickens, ducks and geese. What a very respectful puppy she is with all the new encounters that have come her way in just less than a week’s time. We think she is 5 months old perhaps and weighs about 30 pounds. We think her adult weight will be 50 pounds and she will be an outgoing personality wherever she goes. She will be perfect for a family with young children as she has been around them. She is ready to crawl into your lap and jump into your life with a puppy heart full of love.
