   Meet Buddy: A Scruffy Companion in Search of a Loving Home   Are you ready to open your heart and home to a furry friend in need? Allow us to introduce you to Buddy, a charming and lovable scruffy dog with a heart as big as his soulful eyes. A lap dog that thinks he's a Chihuahua.  At 2.5 years he is 25 lbs and a great couch companion    Buddy's journey to finding a forever home has been filled with twists and turns. Sadly, he was abandoned in a neighborhood when his previous owner had to move to a nursing home. Despite the challenges he faced, Buddy has maintained his gentle spirit and resilient nature.  A few moments of flashbacks and fear can crop up when he's faced with uncertainty, but it quickly disappears when comforted by someone he knows.  This Schnauzer mix boy is housebroken and great on leash walks.  He is a sensitive soul who takes a little time to warm up due to being abandoned. Once you earn his trust, you'll discover him to be fiercely loyal and a loving companion like no other. .Buddy has a special way of becoming your shadow, following you from room to room, eager to be by your side and share in the warmth of companionship.  One of Buddy's endearing qualities is his ability to get along seamlessly with other dogs and cats. His friendly nature makes him an ideal match for a household with furry siblings. We believe Buddy would thrive in a home without young children, but older kids or a calm environment would be the perfect setting for him to blossom.   Buddy is a versatile pup who enjoys the great outdoors as much as he does the comfort of a cozy indoor space. A fenced-in yard would be a dream come true for Buddy, providing him with the freedom to explore and play safely.
