Meet PUPPY TYSON

Tyson is our handsome freckle faced boy puppy that was born October 18th to a litter of 9 puppies who all had to vie for some attention during the first 6 weeks of their life with an overworked mom and a very busy foster lady who worked while taking good care, but didn’t have enough of a lap to hold everyone all the time.  9 puppies is a lot to give cuddles to every day.  So this Anatolian mix pupster named Tyson, originally put on a tough exterior, but over time has become a belly rub loving sweetheart. Once we broke the litter down from the large group of 9 pups who were weaned from mom, Tyson and all the others really enjoyed having some personal focus on just them only.  Now Tyson is getting used to snuggles and enjoying them more every day.  He is really getting the hang of walking on a leash, potty training, and being social with others dogs and people.  As of Christmastime, 12/18, he weighs 12 pounds and we think he will grow to be only 55-60 pounds tops when fully grown.  With the change of litter size and now in foster care with just one brother he is showing how energetic he likes to be and is enjoying getting the exposures he needs and certainly the hugs and guidance from his foster mom Katie.  We have seen him blossom and to learn how to have fun with young children too.  He has a lot of energy and will play all day if you let him.
