Meet Ama

Ama Mama came to MPR from Cherokee just before the storm hit.  She was pregnant, and we couldn't find a foster for her in the chaos of the storm, so she ended up having 10 puppies at our Candler location!  She was a good mom to them and when they were old enough, her puppies left to find foster homes of their own.  Now mama AMA is ready to find a home of her own.She lived on a mountain in Cherokee with other dogs, but since being separated from other dogs, she seems a little hesitant around other dogs and might do best on her own or with a male dog that is chill.  She is such a sweet dog and is very much a staff favorite at MPR.  She weighs about 37 pounds and won't get bigger.  Ama is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed and started on monthly flea/heartworm prevention.  Her adoption fee is $200 and you can apply to adopt at mpravl.org

Adoption Process
Application which is followed by interview/counseling, vet check and landlord check.
