LOCATION: Camden, SCDOB: 10/11/2022Meet Luna, the Mini Great Dane with a Big HeartIntroducing Luna, affectionately dubbed a “mini” Great Dane by her foster mom and dad. Luna is the perfect girl for a family new to Great Danes and nervous about their large size. She has all the Dane qualities and a big Dane personality in a compact body of 81 pounds.Luna has a gentle personality and is incredibly easygoing. She loves to cuddle and be held, and she absolutely adores tucking her snout into her human’s armpit. Luna enjoys sleeping on the couch and being near her foster humans. She has acclimated well into her foster home, which includes 7 other dogs ranging from small to large. While she’s started to play with a few of her foster siblings, the smaller dogs aren’t fond of her, so her new home shouldn’t have small dogs. Cats are an unknown, but probably shouldn’t be in the same home due to her prey drive towards smaller animals.Luna came from a home with toddlers and young kids, making her an amazing addition to a family with young children. She has gravitated more towards her foster mom but also loves being in her foster dad’s arms. Luna is a great vehicle passenger, enjoys walks, and even seems to like taking showers. She loves holding balls in her mouth and chewing on bones. Luna is super sweet, soft, loving, and loyal.Luna has had some issues with accidents in the house, especially when she’s nervous or experiencing change. She needs someone to go outside with her at night to reassure her that it’s okay and not scary.If you’re looking for a loving, gentle, and loyal companion who will bring joy and cuddles to your home, Luna is the perfect pup for you.
